Crossing the Waters

Mpho Tutu is a South African priest, author and daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  Pete is a jazz pianist, composer and educator.  Together they share their stories and experiences of their South African heritage, discussing ideas of identity, responding to the past and ways towards reconciliation.

Their conversation is punctuated by music performed by the Pete Letanka Trio.  Through stories and music, Mpho and Pete explore the challenges and rewards of crossing the waters of perceived differences to find common ground.
